The ToughSkin does a good job of protecting my Nano. It is a tight fit, so it was a little difficult to put on and take off (if you need to take it off for any reason). The screen protector isn't glued in to the jacket (by design or because it was poorly attached) and it kept falling out as I was trying to put my iPod in. Because of this, I had fingerprints on the inside fo the screen protector so I had to take it all out, clean it, and work to get it put back in. But once it's all in, it's a nice tight fit. The navigation wheel isn't protected which is nice when you're using it, but doesn't protect the wheel from being scratched.
The jacket also changed the way the base fits into my docking station so that was kind of a pain, but I was able to take out the platic docking piece and the Nano fits just fine.
Overall I'm happy with the product and would buy it again.

They should redesign, asap, the belt clip. It's unconfortable, not safe, big, ugly, etc.
But the case is wonderful.

Searched far and wide for a good case for my new ipod nano 2nd gen. This case is very satisfactory. Saw others on the shelves at area retailers costing $20 or more, made of less shock-absorbing material. This skin is the one you want. It has the same belt clip that comes with the razor cell phones, which is good. Ipod screen is covered with thick plexiglass like stuff, click wheel is recessed and exposed. This case is very resistent and it's great for the gym. Your Ipod will be very secure. The belt clip is the only thing that could break. I replaced my first Speck Toughskin case after 3 yrs, because the clip belt broke but I couldn't find anything else with rubber case and clip belt that could be compared to this product. I love it!!
