In February 2010 we purchased a TV and the warranty from Square Trade. We had problems with the TV so Amazon switched out TVs and fixed the problem. Around November we started having problems with the new TV and then 2011 comes around and the TV died.
We sent it to Square Trade for warranty repair with a prepaid box they send you. A few days later I received an email stating they were refunding our purchase price for the TV. That email came on the exact day they received the TV from Fed Ex. They said it couldn't be fixed and we got every cent back. They say within 5 days and no joke it was resolved!! No problems, no hassles, just a credit back to Amazon--or your choice of Paypal and that was it. It couldn't have been easier.
I've waited in line at Best Buy before just to get hassled because the product failed, not much fun at all.
Needless to say, when I purchased my new TV 2 days ago(with my Amazon credit from Square Trade of course:) I definitely purchased my warranty with them again. Sometimes it is cheaper to go directly to their site. Once you get a warranty with them they usually send you coupon codes for discounts on future warranties. We have 4 other warranties with them. Thanks for great service Square Trade.
