Digital camera reviews of StarTech 18in SATA to Right Angle SATA Serial ATA Cable (SATA18RA1)Digital camera Review: 90 degree cable in sensible packaging Summary: 5 Stars
Well constructed 90 degree cable (on one end) packaged in a small zip top bag.
The cable is just a basic cable. The thing I really appreciate about this is that the packing makes sense for the product. I bought a few extras on hand so the next time I needed one I did not have to get gouged at a brick and mortar store. This simple packing allows for easy storage without a lot of extra bulk.
Digital camera Review: 90 degree plug, may or may not be problem Summary: 4 Stars
I was fully aware of the 90 degree plug on one end and actually ordered it for that reason. I wanted to plug it into my DVD drive at the top of my case so a 90 degree plug sounded like a great idea. The issue is, the 90 degree plug is upside down. It is designed to go from the bottom of the case up, not the top of the case down. It still worked, I just had to essentially put it in upside down, but at 18 inches it was plenty long enough anyway.
Just something you should keep in mind when ordering. Otherwise it is a great cable and either way it's worth the $1-$2 you pay for it.
Digital camera Review: A price beater Summary: 5 Stars
Hey, take a look in the retail stores. These guys have the same product for a whole lot less! Why not buy from Startech. By a couple too have on hand at this price!
No problems with the quality or fit. Give them a try.
Digital camera Review: As Promised Summary: 5 Stars
Required when you add a "bare bones" internal SATA disc drive. I believe most PCs lack a data plug for a second drive. My PC had an extra power plug so I didn't need a separate power cable. Worked with no problems.
Digital camera Review: Bargain Summary: 5 Stars
What can I say, other than it works just fine. I purchased this together with a CD recorder and it worked like advertise. And the price is just right.
