I use this cable to connect my laptop to my tv. It works with the VGA out on my computer. The video quality is very good and mostly compares with other products out there...that is, it is neither superior nor inferior to similar products
one issue i've had is that, because my laptop doesn't have a place for the cable to be screwed into (that is, the cable is just held in by the plug itself), the cable is not held that securely in...but you can work around this
overall worth it; quality at a cheap price...recommended

Got this a day earlier than I expected and it works great. I use it to hook up my unibody macbook to our 46 inch lcd. I plug it into my mini display port to vga connector and hook it up to the tv and it works just like that. Text is super readable, the quality is as great as looking at my laptop screen. I purchased this cable to connect my computer to my LCD TV. I had no problems connecting the two and the picture on the TV looks great. It's just what I needed. Now I have a bigger monitor to work with when I want.
