I purchased the StarTech cable with the idea that I would not lose much if it did not perform and I could save a lot if it did. I am completely satisfied and extremely happy about the money I saved. I wanted to avoid having to pay over 50 for an HDMI cable. My plan was to purchase these cable at a significantly reduced price expecting them to perform on par with the overpriced cables. My logic (not that it isn't without its flaws at times), HDMI cables are inherently superior, given they must adhere to certain specs. Ultimately, to call it an HDMI cable, it must perform at a certain level. I wasn't too worried, as it wasn't an expensive risk.Digital camera Review: As good as it says.

If you're in the market for a long HDMI cable -- and if 15FT will meet your needs -- buy this cable. It's priced well, is built extremely well with a thick insulation, and works perfectly. I'm very happy I picked this over the super-expensive brand name cables that do no better at sending a digital signal than this cable.
