Digital camera Review: Awful fuzzy blue streak mess!!!

This was the first hdmi cable i ever bought. I was told by friends that expensive cables didn't offer more quality. After this experience, I don't know if I believe it. I read all the reviews and thought how great is it to find an $15 hdmi cable. Well now I am out $15 and have to find a new cable.
Problems:
1. Seller is listed as hdmi king through amazon.com. Yet it comes to me through some Abascus123 seller??? When I try to return it I have to contact some third party. Never had this experience when Amazon's name is on it. Packaging was just a mailina envelope with the cord. Seemed like it wasn't new.
2. The picture was fuzzy, it was like a 1985 TV screen! My component cables were very picture perfect.
3. After 2 weeks, the fuzziness slowly got worse. Now when any part of the screen goes black, blue lines streak across the screen. So much for HDTV! And yes, all the cords are plugged in tight and I haven't run over them with a lawnmower or anything.
Just want to share before you think you are getting a good deal but may waste money. Maybe it is just my cord or the seller that sold it to me. I am surprised by amazon's quality to ship my order off to some third party. This is the first time I have received an item "supposedly" sold by Amazon.com but did not show up in an Amazon labeled box.

After looking at the popular Big Box retail stores for HDMI cords and seeing their pricing I checked Amazon. I have made 90% of my technology purchases with Amazon ever since. The cable was a tenth of the price of shorter cables offered. The cable works great, clear picture and sound conversion. The StarTech HDMI cables are great and relay perfect picture and sound. The problem here is with Amazon and the Amazon Marketplace. I have three Startech HDMI cables in my home theater setup. I recently order a fourth, or so I thought. If you order from one of Amazon's Marketplace vendors, you are not guaranteed to get an actual StarTech HDMI RoHS compliant cable. In fact, you'll get pot luck of whatever 15ft (in the case of my order) HDMI cable the vendor has in stock. Obviously it costs more, but make sure your StarTech cable is sold by and shipped from Amazon to guarantee you are getting the HDMI cable you intend to purchase.Digital camera Review: Cable only worked for 2 weeks.

I ordered this cable to hook up my LG 1080p LCD TV up to the digital cable. Cable worked fine for a couple of weeks and then just stopped working. There was no damage done to the cable. I hooked up another cable and it worked fine, confirming the problem was with the cable, not the TV or box. Not worth the money to ship back so now I'm out $15 and have a useless cable. Thanks.
