Are you tired of opening small, wiry TOSLINK cables that resemble the consistency and feel of slightly soft brittle coat hangers? If so, then this is for you. It is about 2/3 the diameter of my pinky, it is coated with a rubber coating, it is soft and pliable, and it sounds great and it cost much less than what a lesser product would have cost in the local stores. StarTech has constructed the Mr. Universe of optical cables with this model. Its over 1/4" in diameter! This cable feels very sturdy, and the heavy duty connector jackets match the strength of this cable. I have used this to connect my PS3 to my optical reciever and it works flawlessly. My only criticism of the cable is the diameter of the connectors. I ran this cable under the floor to connect my TV and audio amplifier. The connectors required a much larger diameter hole(over one-half inch) than the cable itself. Ideally, I'd like to see the connectors' diameter be as close as possible to the cable's diameter.
