I love bargains but this just isn't one .. Frankly I have no IDEA how this thing scored so highly by other reviewers .. save your money and buy something decent cause this just isn't.
Navigation buttons are placed in seemingly random order and make no sense .. buttons are very unresponsive .. resolution is poor .. wide screen format for a digital frame is dumb .. once pics were manually resized to the proper resolution and loaded onto the frame (which is an incredibly arduous task) the first pic displays correctly but every other one is squished together with no clear way to unsquish them ..
In the end I returned this and then spent 3 times as much and bought a 8" HP which has performed flawlessly.

I received this today for my Birthday.
While I love the remote, the pictures are super dark. I wish there was a brightness feature.
And I'm using pics that were professionally taken so I know it's not the pics themselves.
The remote feature is awesome.. I do wish it had batteries though so I wasn't so limited on where I could display it.
But since it was a gift, I'm okay with it.
I would be super disappointed had I bought this myself.

I bought this for my mom because of the flexibility it offers. My mom has a MAC and this gives her the ability to use a SD adapter and a SD card to load all the pictures she wants and put the card into the picture frame. A lot of the picture frames are not MAC compatible, or do not state if they are. She is very happy with her picture frame and I'm glad that she can easily use it! I am impressed with the picture quality. I loaded up to 400 pics on my USB drive and it works really great. It has various slide show features. Calendar is also good but picture size becomes small.
I would give the frame 5 stars if they add mp3 support and video

This 7 inch Sunpak is a great little frame with quite a few options. It is my first photo viewer, so I don't have anything to compare it to.
But I found it relatively user friendly. I agree that the buttons on the back are awkward, but it comes with a remote, so just don't use the buttons on the back! Three different types of input make adding pics easy. I've already loaded more than 50 photos on the internal memory, and I've only had it home for a few hours. Some reviewer mentioned a 4x6 aspect ratio, and the pictures staying up for 30 seconds, but that all of that is adjustable. I do not think that reviewer fully expored the setting options. I do wish I had picked up a 2 g cards, justfor the frame. Right now I am using one of my camera cards. The cord is a bit short. I think it is a great deal! I may get another for a gift.
