This picture frame is a very good value. It can read the 2 G SD cards wich can hold up to a years worth of pictures (depending on what resolution you have on your pictures). The picture quality is nice and the picture frame can be controlled by the remote. Some that I have had in the past could not be turned off or on with the remote but this one can.
If you're going to put this on your desk it has a nice calendar function where you can have the current month's calendar along with either your favorite picture or have it randomly (or sequentually) change pictures.
I haven't used the internal memory. With 2 G SD cards being less than $10 each, I rather put my pictures on a card so I can change the pictures easily.

Very disappointed in this frame. As some other reviewers have indicated, there are 2 aspect ratios available: 16x9 and 4x3. But the 16x9 is useless, because it distorts the picture. I look fatter than I already am. So I ended up using the 4x3, and what you have left is a tiny picture with black bands on either side. I found the whole thing difficult to set up, the instructions are obviously a translation from some foreign language, and the menus are not intuitive. Picture is grainy and poor quality. Some of these reviews have provided conflicting information regarding memory- I suspect that the SD card provided with the frame has been upgraded a few times during this product's lifetime as memory has gotten cheaper. The SD card with the one I bought Dec 2008 was 2GB. Ordinarily the customer reviews on Amazon are very reliable, so it is very surprising to me that this frame has overall positive reviews when in fact it is not worth buying. My suggestion is to keep an eye out for a friend who has a good one, and buy that model. As for my frame, it will probably fetch $10 on ebay by the end of the year.Digital camera Review: Very pleased with quality and price

This digital frame is not the most expensive on the market, but it does the job just great and the pictures look good enough to have this running in my husband's office all day to show off his family! We purchased 3 of these family for our parents for Christmas. Up loaded pictures from throughout our lives. They loved them. Very sentimental, inexpensive Christmas gift. The frames work great, very easy to navigate screens and easy to follow instructions.
