Digital camera Review: Great quality schoolbag

I would've never thought that such a quality product can come out of Swiss Gear for such a good price. The seams are all reinforced, the handles are extremely durable and the back and straps are thoroughly padded. The material, zipper quality and overall durability far exceeds anything that I have ever seen in a Jansport.
It also makes a perfect school bag. It is not meant to be able to hold a professional studio-sized camera or a watermelon or a pony, or any other crazy thing that people unfairly criticize this bag for. It does however comfortably fit my laptop (13.3", though room for a 15.4"), a filled 400 page ring binder, 900 page text book, 100 page spiral notebook, the laptop charger, my lunch, pencils, highlighters and flashcards.
It has 3 main zippered pockets all as deep as the bag is and 2 side elastic unzippered pockets large enough to fit a water bottle in each. The main pocket is just anterior to the straps and includes the dedicated padded computer pocket and additional space where I keep my spiral notebook.
The next zippered pocket which is just anterior to the top strap contains a media pocket where I keep a sandwich, and a bigger pocket where I keep a text book and notebook.
The next pocket which zippers just above the Swiss Gear logo, has a segmented portion which holds pens, pencils, flashcards etc. and then goes deeper. This is where I keep my laptop charger.
The only gripe that I had was that for some reason, the free super-savers shipping took much longer than usual to get it to me. It was worth the wait.

overall, i like this backpack. good quality materials. it keeps my laptop and several books. i have carried 15 lbs of groceries in it and it was a little hard on my back. i'm 5' and i feel as if the straps are sometimes set a little too far apart for me. i wish there were more pockets. there's basically three main compartments- one with the laptop compartment, the middle one which is fair sized and has a place for mp3/cd player, and the front one which has a tiny zipper but has compartments for pens, etc. it's pretty comfy for the most part although the straps could be cushier.Digital camera Review: Worth every penny and serves the purpose.

I bought this bag during a Christmas sale on Amazon for $30. Not only do I use it for my daily use but also used it to carry a DSLR camera, a laptop, a few chargers and books. It may look small but it has enough space. I really like the compact look and the cushioned straps.
I would recommend this bag for anyone looking for a reasonably priced bag that is comfortable to use and serves its purpose.

Overall this is a good bag for the price. It is decent looking and seems to be well made. I like the cell phone pouch on the strap. A few reviews complain about the size. Personally, I think this bag is meant to be more of a laptop case that can carry a few books rather than a full size backpack that also can carry a laptop. To me it is perfect for the typical college student. I never took my books to class, so all I really needed was something big enough to hold a notebook and some miscellaneous items. This has plenty of room for a laptop, a notebook, and a book or two plus small miscellaneous items. The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because the laptop sleeve does not fully cover my 15.4" screen laptop. An inch or so of the end of the laptop is exposed. This is a very strong bad. Every since I got it I'm able to take more tools with me for my repair jobs.
This only con about it is that my 15.4 inch laptop fits very tightly and sometimes I have to take other things out to let my laptop in.
Other than that It's a good buy for the money.
