Digital camera Review: Ok for 15-inch laptops

This bag is fine for 15 inch laptops. A Lenovo T500 (a widescreen) with 6-cell battery (14.1 x 10 x 1.2-1.3 inches) fits, but it extends past the top of the sleeve, leaving several inches unprotected near the top zipper. Several people have complained about this with SwissGear bags, and I think it might be a legitimate concern depending on what you use the bag for. Also, I would think this design flaw should be relatively easy to fix. A Dell Inspiron 5100 (not a widescreen) fits better, with the upper 2 corners nearly covered. I don't see how a 17-inch laptop would fit.
The bag is more gray and less blue than it appears in pictures. It has lots of organizing pockets, which is convenient, but it means sacrificing flexibility to carry larger items. The bag is a bit heavy when empty, but if this is a concern for you you probably have a smaller laptop.
It annoys me that backpack manufacturers don't give the dimensions of the laptop sleeve. When you're considering buying a laptop bag, the first question you ask is, "Will my laptop fit?"
