I bought this at a local running store, and when I got it home, I found it a little hard to slide open, and once my sensor was in, it was tight to get it closed. The product also says you can slide the transmitter that plugs into the nano on the clip, however I found when the transmitter has the cap on, is a tiny bit too big to slide into place. I also tried it with my boyfriend's clip to see if mine was just a little bit off, and couldn't get it to work on his either. I think for the money this is a better solution to buying a pair of Nike shoes with the sensor slot in the sole, just need to store the transmitter someplace else. I've been very happy with this item. It was inexpensive, easy to use, and serves its purpose very well.
I use it mainly in the gym on a treadmill and have had no problem with it falling off at all. If one has the good sense to secure it properly with ones shoestrings (per the instructions) it will stay put the way it was designed to.
I like that I can remove it from my shoes with one lift and twist, and then use the button to switch off the sensor and save the battery.
