From what I've read in the technical literature, there are two brands of CD/DVD media which are consistently superior; they are TDK and Verbatim. I have no particular loyalty to either and usually buy the one found first. I have had nothing but good results from either brand. I should point out that I have not used the re-writable forms of these dics but I am assuming that the quality is comparably good.Digital camera Review: DVD-R
