Excellent and high quality product. I bought this Toshiba 500 GB 2.0 external portable hard drive a month ago on Amazon. I'm 100% satisfied. It's very small. There was nothing to set up. Just plug in the USB cable the Toshiba software drivers loaded automatically, my PC immediatly recognized the new drive. The Read/Write speed is very good. I have only good things to say i have been using this product for about 5 months and i must say its very reliable i use it as a backup hdd to my laptop and when not used as a backup i plug it into my western digital media player to watch movies, listen to music and pictures on my TV at home. I have used this since April as a time machine back-up for my Imac and it has not failed me yet. it is on whenever my Imac is on and gets backed up at least once a day. I would buy another Toshiba if I needed it.
