My main desktop and router are on the opposite side of my HTPC, Xbox 360 and Blu-Ray player. I run one long cable from the router over to the other side of the room and used this baby to split the internet connection between the 3 devices. Works flawlessly. I am now able to have all three devices connected without having to manually switch myself. A must have for setups where multiple internet devices are in close proximity. I have my uverse dvr, wii (for steaming movies from netflix), and laptop plugged into this, and of course my Ethernet connection coming out of the wall. I can use all of them at the same time, no buttons to push or switches to switch, just plug them in and go......finally, a box that's easy to hook up and easy to use, and it works!Digital camera Review: Ethernet Switch

Easy to use, just plug in and you are ready to go...this did require us to restart our computers but after that, the computers set themselves up and we have had no issues. For under $15, this was exactly what we were looking for. Have had no internet crashes or lag time to deal with. The only drawback is that there is no wireless internet...it's not a huge problem but it would be a nice feature to have. But for the $11.50 we paid, this is a great deal!
