Digital camera Review: Take back the Quiet!

Have you been to the mall lately? Or the grocery store or a restaurant or ANY PUBLIC PLACE at all recently? They're cramming them with TVs!
I'd been aware of this product for about two years. It looked like fun but I couldn't quite justify the twenty dollar price tag for a novelty. Once I became aware of the corporate worlds campaign to stamp out silence (unofficial, but you know what I'm talking about) I decided it was a matter of survival. So, I bought one.
I love it. It has empowered me to take control of my immediate environment back. I like TV. I watch it a lot. But I also have great respect for quiet contemplation and human interaction. Putting TVs everywhere is taking that away from us and supplanting product placement in it's stead.
This is the perfect tool to combat this trend. It works great, most any TV goes right off. Some take a little time but for most you don't even need to slow down. Pop!
Also fun for the creative miscreant. There's a big game on at the local watering hole and the home town is gonna score? Pop! (Authors note: Doing this might earn you a proper beating!)
The company that makes it is very honest about its capabilities; it does just what they say it will. TVs are everywhere and if you find yourself wishing you could have a little peace and quiet, this little guy gives you a choice.

I bought this thing for the purpose of turning the TV off and messing with people. That's what I do with it. I was at a locat supermarket a few weeks ago, and every TV was off because of remodeling. Not so much after I left. It is also fun turning it off when people watch it. People look around helplessly as they are trying to find where there show went. I haven't found a TV that it will not turn off yet. I have had one TV that took about 30 seconds to turn off.
One more thing. If you want to get one of these, do not get one of the colored transparent ones. They have a bright blue light that flashes when it is working. I do not believe that the black ones have this.

If you are amused with annoying others, get this. The look on others faces is worth the $15.00 alone. Even if you get to only do it once. I followed a group of small children around Best buy, going from game system to game system. Turning each TV off. What fun. Tears almost began to flow. made my day. Product was ordered as a Christmas Gift. I tested it a few times on a large screen LCD TV as well as an older projection TV. The gadget turned off both within a minute, and back on when pressed again. The recepient of the gift tested his with similar result. Item works as advertised.
