Just bought this, plugged in without really reading directions. Windows XP saw it and brought up a window. Copied some files back and forth and it worked great.
I only use for SD memory, so the other stuff is all fluff. And I don't need any fancy software or drivers. Just something that works. And this fits the bill for me.

This unit features high-speed USB 2.0 connectivity for superior data transfer speeds, and is backward compatible with all USB 1.1 ports so it will still work with your older systems. Easy to install, the TGR-CRD25 is truly plug-and-play, requiring no drivers to operate right out of the box, and being compatible with both Windows XP and Mac OS X operating systems.
This compact 25-in-1 card reader requires a Pentium class windows machine with USB support, running Windows 98SE or higher. For Macintosh, this unit requires USB support and Mac OS 9.2x or higher in order to operate. The Targus TGR-CRD25 is compatible with several BenQ cards, and dozens of i-mate, LG, Motorola, Nokia, PalmOne, Samsung, Sony Ericsson brand memory cards.
