Digital camera Review: Light on cost, but also light on durability!

I am not sure what I expected for the small price of $25 but it was (and is) more than I got. Perhaps I was an uninformed shopper when I purchased two of these "lapdesks". If I had it to do over, I wouldn't (do it over, that is). I have a laptop with a 17" screen that is pretty weighty and this lapdesk does not provide the rigidity I am looking for.Digital camera Review: Light, sturdy and truly portable!

I have purchased 5 of them so far, as they make great presents. It is made out of hard plastic and rubber, and that makes it very light but sturdy enough. The rubber bands keep the laptop in place and secure. It folds flat and it fits in a laptop bag. It has the possibility of being used in different positions. It can be folded and locked in V position to raise the laptop's back 2 or 3 inches, or it can be opened to serve as a tray. It has holes that help keep the laptop cooler. The only laptop user that might be dissapointed would be someone looking for just the cooling feature as this doesn't have any fans. It does everything I need.

Well, it's finally broken. I use it mostly in a V position, with the back of the laptop raised. The rubber tabs that allow for that position to happen are either gone or broken. I'm going to order another one right away. I have used it almost everyday.

I just received the lapdesk last week. Primarily being used to cart laptop from room to room. The center tends to bow when 15.4" laptop is being carted around. Otherwise, works okay for cooling and I have enough room to use a mouse.Digital camera Review: Nifty, affordable little device!

I bought several of these for family members and friends for Christmas. So far, they have been great. I didn't want to spend $30.00 on something like this and finally found them on here for $11.89. The laptop doesn't slide off of it and the adjustable options are great. We've learned it's very important to have air going under your laptop since it can cost you an expensive battery if your laptop gets too hot. I hardly use my laptop at a desk. This product isnt that great if your looking to place it on your lap and use your mouse on it. I find that its not very comfortable and the mouse doesnt work very well. If you do use a mouse it really needs to be a mini opti mouse! I mainly use this to set my laptop on to keep cool as I usually have it on the floor, the bed, an ottoman, etc and it can get pretty warm. This product does work in preventing it from getting too hot so that your laptop doesnt overheat.
