Digital camera Review: Not reliable - there are better options out there I hope!

The cooling mat was okay at first (although it has never been very portable because of the bulky shape). Within a month, the fans started "sputtering" and turning off whenever they wanted until one day they stopped turning on at all. We still use it as a barrier between the computer and legs but it works the same as a book which I am sure you can find around your house for free.
