Digital camera reviews of Targus TSB082US Shield Backpack Fits up to 17-Inch Screen (Black and Red)

Digital camera Review: Extremely pleased
Summary: 5 Stars

I was looking for a backpack that would fit my 17" Dell Inspiron 1720 with the extended battery that sticks out the back by a little less than an inch. After comparing many backpacks online and looking at the sizes, I decided on this one and was very happy with it. My laptop fits perfect and there are a bunch of other great pockets for books or accessories. I am not a student and don't take a ton of books with me everywhere so I wanted a backpack that was fairly low profile and didn't stick out really far from my back like many of the other ones seem too and I was relieved when it came in to find that this one satisfied this requirement and yet still has the ability to hold quite a few book or whatever else if desired. It is pretty large in the width and height but I'm 6'5" so it fits me just fine. I think it'd still be able to fit under an airplane seat (although I haven't tried yet). It is very comfortable on my back even though my laptop is very heavy. I've only had it for a few weeks now and only taken it a few places but it seems well made. I like the stiff handle on top as well. I highly recommend this product for people needing to fit a 17" laptop.

Digital camera Review: i feel like a turtle...but does the job
Summary: 4 Stars

I travel for work often enough to where this time, I opted for a backpack opposed to a briefcase. It seems I'm always running to make my flight, so I guessed it would be easier with luggage strapped to my back, instead of dangling and banging against my side. I would recommend making this choice first.

OK, so this backpack is HUGE! I'm short (5'2") so I think this pack dwarfs me a bit, and kinda makes me feel like a turtle. BUT, I still feel I made a wise purchase in that this pack has LOTS of room (in addition to my puter, I can fit cables, a camera, magazines, and probably some clothing if I needed). Padding with an elastic pull-over keeps my laptop secure with adequate cushion (I also have a Neoprene sleeve), I also like the many pockets (for CDs, ipod, pens, etc.)...many, many pockets. Cushioned back and straps are nice...colors are nice also,

-to add, i've successfully taken this on two business trips now and while you may need to move somethings around inside, you CAN stow under the seat. yay.

Digital camera Review: Carry Everything
Summary: 5 Stars

Great backpack. I have used it to carry 2 notebooks (a 17" and a 15") with books and supplies including external hard drive, notebook camera, usb stick, cell phone, cables, pens, business cards, and water bottles. The only limits to this bag is how much weight you can carry. Lots of nice pockets and good padding. Bag is slightly larger than most others but the extra space is worth it.
