Digital camera Review: Enormous and worth it

If you need to carry a big 17" laptop / mobile workstation AND a lot of other stuff, this is it. I bike to work (8.5 miles each way) and, with laptop, bike pump and tool set, full change of clothes, and food/water, the pack weights 18-19 pounds and still travels *very* comfortably on my back all the way.
A few cons:
It's not waterproof (to be fair, it's not advertised as being so);
It doesn't "breathe" well with the computer on the compartment closest to your back;
The profusion of compartments and pockets is confusing at first (but after you get used to it and properly organized, it's great).
Overall, a winner!

I chose this backpack because of how large it seemed. It is wonderful. I am a nursing student with a total of 14 books to haul around this semester. Six of those are for one nursing class. I am able to put all six in the bag at once. I can also fit my computer, pens, pencils, high liters, colored pencils, phone, mp3 player, cash, id, car keys, and water bottle at the same time. Perfect backpack to hit people in the face with after it's been filled with my laptop, books, papers, etc - which it holds quite nicely. Walked around with it in the rain and nothing got wet inside. It has too much room for all your things and your 17" laptop, I travel from time to time and I even don't have to be carring another bag for my clothes. It's a Little bit bulky, but is what you get when you have a 17" laptop. It stands itself whatever you are carring and it has a weist belt if you plan to walk a lot with it.Digital camera Review: Excellent
