Digital camera reviews of Targus XL Backpack Designed for 17 Inch Notebooks TXL617 (Black with Blue Accents)Digital camera Review: Awesome Summary: 5 Stars
I have had it for over a year now and its like new. I am in the Navy and it made a 7 month deployment with out any problems. Great backpack.
Digital camera Review: Awesome HUGE notebook bag Summary: 4 Stars
This is an awesome bag and will fit a wide variety of products. It has lots of pockets and seperate comaprtments for all your stuff. The pouch for the NOTEBOOK is enourmous and will fit the largest notebook out there easily. However in that light the compartment was much to big for my 17" MacBook Pro, about 3-4 inches on the side and 2inches on the top. In that light its still a great bag but just not going to wrok well if you have a MacBook, even with a sleeve on my computer the compartment was to big.
Digital camera Review: Awesome bag for large laptops and travel Summary: 5 Stars
If I had the opportunity to change one thing on the back it would be the big rubber handle mounting as it falls in the way of the zippers when closing the bag.
Digital camera Review: Awsome Backpack Summary: 5 Stars
Awsome backpack, lots of space and pockets for anything you want to carry.
Only recommendation I have is adding some padding for the bottom for your laptop.
Digital camera Review: BEWARE! This thing will hold a TON of stuff! Summary: 5 Stars
This is an awesome notebook backpack but those with a weak back should proceed with caution when loading it as it will keep swallowing up stuff until you're not able to lift it onto your back! Very nicely organized and the quality appears to be topnotch and it's certainly a great value (paid $54.99). Use it to haul 17" notebook and HP portable printer (with their power supplies), over a dozen video cables, 15' heavy duty extension cord, camera tripod, USB hub, USB to serial adapter, assorted DVDs, LED flashlight, 30' tape measure, Leatherman Wave, etc. to my customers' homes.
PROS: tons of convenience, well thought-out storage, decently balanced, rugged construction
CONS: could be a bit hard to carry fully loaded for anyone of diminutive stature
