Really saved me so much time and money. I would recommend it in a moment. I was really worried that what I measured at home would not be accurate, but indeed it was within probably .5 lb. This is a very convenient tool to have when you pack for long trips. We typically go on 5+ day trips several times a year, and of course, we over pack.
For our last trip with the digital luggage scale, we packed one suitcase to 49 pounds (one pound under the 50 pound limit) and another suitcase to 40 lbs (room for gifts and souvenirs). These weights were confirmed at the check-in scale at the airport - excellent! With the digital luggage scale, we arranged our two suitcases to be at 49 and 48 pounds coming back.
Before this tool, we would pack up our luggage, I would hold the luggage weighing myself on the home scale and subtract out my weight to get the luggage weight. That's great for home but not great on the road. With the digital luggage scale, you just pack your luggage, zip it up and attach the digital luggage scale to the handle to get an accurate reading. Saves a lot of time and there is less stress at the check-in counter.

I love to travel, but am not too great at packing light. This little gadget will safe you stress well worth the price tag. No more scrambling at the airport and switching things around in bags to not go over the 50 pound limit. It's pretty small and extremely easy to use. I've been looking for a luggage scale but hadn't found one to my liking until I saw the ads and reviews for the Taylor Digital Luggage Scale. I ordered 2 (one for a gift) and tried it out. It performed above my expectations--easy to use since the strap clipped on easily and allowed the luggage to be lifted normally (off to the side and with one hand). The weight was recorded and saved and could be read after putting the luggage down! I was so impressed I ordered 2 more for gifts. And by replacing the plastic strip under the battery for storage, battery life can be extended.Comparison with my bathroom scale was consistent--although it's always advisable to allow a pound or two for leeway. Good to take when shopping for luggage or even weighing pets in their carriers too.
