The product came quickly and in new condition and seems like it should work great. The only thing that either should be mentioned in the description or I should have gone to the product web site to find out is that it only works on "DIRECT WIRED" antenna or cable systems and does not work on Satellite or Cable "BOXES". This remote is easy to program. Just put it in program mode (push two buttons together for a few seconds) then push one button repeatedly until the tv turns off. Then push another button to save the settings. It is simple to use and the writing is large and easy to see.Digital camera Review: Just a great product

A must buy for older folks with memory loss! Two minutes max to setup. Works great on an anolog set with cable.
One suggestion..label the VOL + - as loud soft. For an 87 year old even the plus and minus signs are confusing.

The unit works great, but you may think it will never get programmed. Keep pushing the buttons per the instructions until the television turns off. It must have been, or at least seemed like, 100 tries before it got the correct program. It does work great and my 96 year old mother now can easily adjust her television without accidentally pushing the wrong button on the mega button tuner which came with the television.Digital camera Review: Large Key Remote

This gadget has been a very handy addition for my 94 year old mother. She has progressive macular degeneration and has a difficult time managing the many small buttons on a regular television remote control. There are only 6 buttons on the Tek remote, up and down channel, up and down volume, on/off, and mute. While she cannot jump channels, she's able to navigate with ease. The remote only works on the television, and not on cable boxes, DVD players, or DVR. It was easy to set up (but took someone with reading ability). The price was right too, $9.95 plus shipping and handling.
