I received the TI-84 and replaced the batteries several times and it did not turn on either time, the description said "like new" and when I emailed them for a refund they ignored it and said that I was putting the batteries in wrong or i need to press the buttons harder, and they would replace it, even though I wished to be refunded so I could buy one that is actually "like new". This calculator is hands-down the best I have ever had the honor of using. While the TI-84 Plus may not have as much space or as many pre-loaded Apps as the TI-84 Plus Silver Edition, the TI-84 Plus offers everything a high school (possibly some college) math student needs in order to successfully learn and solve mathematics material. The TI-84 Plus comes loaded with several Apps that will make things even more convenient, such as a Probability Simulator and Cabri Jr., a great geometry app. Student looking to upgrade from the TI-83 Plus will find comfort in the fact that the TI-84 Plus is 2.5x faster and has 3x the memory than the TI-83 Plus. The TI-84 Plus is also extremely easy to hook up to your computer to transfer new Apps and updates to it using the USB port and the included USB cable. This is an excellent calculator for those embarking on a college major that requires a lot of math. It has a lot of pre-loaded formulas for many types of calculations. Several readily used textbooks refer to either the TI-83 Plus or TI-84 Plus calculator for use in their courses.
The only problem I found is that TI-Connect (the software to connect the calculator to your computer) does not work with Windows XP SP3. You would think a company as advanced as TI could keep up with Microsoft's updates to Windows! What Windows user would not be up to date with Service Packs? I really don't understand their failure is this area.
All other things about this product are great!

Nothing more to say about this calculator. Works fine. However, seller sold me a used one for the price of a new one. Even has "Brandy's" name on the front of the calculator. Going to return this product, item review will be updated as the days go by.
