Digital camera reviews of Texas Instruments Voyage 200 Calculator

Digital camera Review: Great deal, good calculator
Summary: 5 Stars

This calculator was great for the calculus 2 class I purchased it for. The Ti-86 I had wasn't cutting it for the class material and the Voyage 200 not only addressed all the functions I needed, but it also made the process of using the calculator much quicker which was great during test time. Anything that will help you spend more time focusing on the problem at hand and less time inputting your functions and numbers is worth the investment.

Digital camera Review: Great product
Summary: 5 Stars

I got excited with TI when I learned they bought out the Derive Program, one of the fastest and easiest to use algebra systems ever written. They use the Derive math program in the TI-89, 92+, and now Voyager 200. (stupid name). This little calc does almost everything, and quickly. For almost all high school and college students, they will not need another. Forget the HP product line. Use this one.

(By the way, they wrote a great user manual for the TI-89. Download that one.)

Digital camera Review: Great: a culmination of calculators
Summary: 5 Stars

If you are the 89 series programmer, then this will make your life a lot easier with the QWERTY keys. That was my primary reason to buy it, plus that my students are required to learn the 89 series for coursework. That forced me to leave behind the ways of HP's RPN notation machines and head back into TI. Want the ultimate machine for math, calc, physics? Here you go.

Digital camera Review: I don't know how I got by without this...
Summary: 4 Stars

I made it through calc I and most of calc II with a Ti-83 and maple (on computer) but I finally caved and bought this when I started to get heavy into integrals. This gets rid of both. I still use maple on tougher problems, but in class and during tests I wouldn't use anything else. I've used TI-89s before in class and borrowed from friends and it is just a much smoother interface overall. Nicer/bigger screen, full qwerty keyboard, and I think more programs and memory(pretty sure about memory, but don't quote me...). Ff you're even thinking about taking a full series in calculus or an upper division math or math-related class I highly recommend this product. It's $50 more, give or take, than a TI-89 but if you need a TI-89 anyways then this is definately worth the extra money. I would give this a 5, but TIs (technically inferior) in general have their issues, as anyone who has used them knows, and this is no exception unfortunately. But this does such a good job with the rest of the stuff it can do I usually forget about the technical problems.

Digital camera Review: I love my Voyage 200
Summary: 5 Stars

its the bestest calculator ever! It certanly is bigger than everyone elses and thats why I got it. Full qwerty keyboard and bigger screen is the main reason. As for calculations its compatible with Ti89 which my school sugggested. It can do lots of other stuff too but im only in pre-calc.
I love the way other students and even the teachers are like WOW nice calculator !
