I'm not so sure that Nike is as happy as I am! Nice job!! The pouch works perfect as far as i can tell. It doesn't miss a step. I was initially concerned that the sensor would miss-count, or somehow be less accurate than it might be in the Nike shoe, but this is just not the case. I bought this mainly because I like my current running shoes and didn't waste time breaking in a new pair. My first run with this and the iPod Sports Kit was on a treadmill to calibrate it. However, I didn't have to change anything; it was deadly accurate. The instant the treadmill hit 1 mile, so did my iPod. I was actually surprised in how accurate it was. If you have the Nike+ system, this is a must have. It allows you to use the Nike+ Ipod system without using the intended Nike running shoes. I own 2 of these and have given several for gifts. I am training for a marathon and switch out shoes everyother run so I have a pouch on both pairs and just move the sensor back and forth.
I love the fact that it is neoprene and therfore waterproof. The velcro on the underside makes for easy removal/replacement of the sensor. This laces neatly up in your shoe and looks very sleek.

REVIEW UPDATE:
My previous review was based on the first version of this product. The new version has a Velcro backing that prevents the transmitter from falling out (that was my only complaint before). This is a MUST HAVE for anyone who is Nike+Nano user but doesn't necessarily wear Nike shoes.

OLD REVIEW:
For those of us who don't or can't wear Nike shoes this is a great little item. I under-pronate when I run and wear a particular model of Asics.
The only complaint I may have is that over time this pouch expands a little and gets loose. I've temporarily lost my transmitter a couple of times. A small piece of tape on the backside solves the problem. Without this...a 5*.

I can't say enough postive things about these carriers, and about the company! Remarkable on both counts. I am one of the many people in the world that can't get a Nike shoe that fits my foot and stride, and with this pouch, I can wear the appropriate shoe for ME, and get the benefits of NikePlus and challenges, and track progress on my IPOD.
I can't recommend this product ENOUGH - it's incredibly well made, and priced to allow you to have one on every running shoe so you don't have to unlace if you go from street to trail.
