I tried, but the old tshirt material just didnt cut it! The shoe pouch is exactly what I was trying to find. Other products I found said they fit the nike sensor, and they did, along with keys and money. Those products are too large and distracting for what I was using it for. The shoe pouch is perfect! I would recommend this item to anyone who has the nike plus system with or without the nike shoes!Digital camera Review: Customer Service is AMAZING!

I am a PE teacher and coach, and have just recently purchased the Nike+ armband and nano. I am not a fan of any of the Nike shoes that house this product, so I went searching for a solution. I am SO GLAD I stumbled upon this product. I ordered 2 of them and they are perfect. I would order 2 though, and not just one. I have one on 2 of my favorite running shoes so I can just grab 'em and go! The reason for my review though, is not only for the greatness of the product. The customer service provided by Grantwood is amazing. They email you immediately confirming your order. It is an actual person, not a computer generated one! They thank you for your order, they update you on shipping status and even followed up to make sure I was happy with it and received it okay. What other company does that? Not many! If you are thinking about a solution for the Ipod running system...ABSOLUTELY get this..it's worth it! Mine ripped after a week so I email Grantwood Technology on a Sunday & was emailed back an hour later.
They stated they have only had a few problems & said he would mail me a replacement the next day.
Two new ones were sent out the next day. It works very well. THe reciever needs to remain still when running for acurate readings & this product works perfect. I didn't have to calibrate the sensor it works so well.
It works great w/out buying the Nike+ shoes.

I bought this in addition to the NIKE+ iPod. The actual adapter that fits in this pouch goes in the base of a NIKE+ shoe (under the insole). I currently live overseas and have not found any NIKE+ shoes, so this was my only option. It works true to it's purpose, yet just like the NIKE+ iPod, the actual results are not 100% accurate. It is well made, and a perfect fit. If you do not have NIKE+ shoes Id get this. My husband now has some NIKE+shoes, and the calculations (distances/steps) are for the most part exactly the same, within comparison to this pouch.
