I've been using this shoe pouch for over 3 months and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to use the Nike+ Sport Kit but doesn't want to shell out the money for the Nike+ shoes. The pouch holds the Nike+ sensor firmly in place allowing for precise data collection. It's good looking, durable, easy to "install" on your running shoe, and inexpensive. I cannot commend the folks at Grantwood Technologies for making this incredible shoe-pouch for the Nike+ sensor. I bought it for my current running shoes as I did not, as many here, want to spend more money on shoes..."compatible" shoes. This little fella attaches to the laces and holds the sensor very securely.
The accuracy is, in no way, affected whatsoever. I ran on a treadmill to determine accuracy and was pleasantly surprised by the stellar results. The treadmill logged 0.42 miles and Nike+ logged 0.43 miles. The 0.01 differential was a result of my hitting the center button on my Nano a few seconds before starting the treadmill workout. You can't get better than that!
So, rest assured.

I scoured the web for the best and smallest pouch for my Nike+ sensor and I came to this item as a conclusion. I had the original Nike+ for the iPod, then also the Nike+ watch. The sensor accurately tracked my data and I never had a problem with it.Digital camera Review: Excellent solution!

I received the Nike system for Christmas from family members who didn't realize the severity of the whole Nike shoe issue. I tried putting the chip in my Asics shoe, but I was convinced that I would have to eventually rig something like this up for myself. I was elated when I found one already made on Amazon and even happier when it worked so well! The chip is held very snugly in the pouch and I have never had a problem with it falling out during a run. The pouch doesn't seem to affect the accuracy of the chip's recording. When I give the Nike systems for gifts later this year, I am definitely including the shoe pouch too!Digital camera Review: Fabulous!!!!!

This is a "must" product for those who love the Nike+ iPod, but prefer to run in a different brand of shoes. The shoe pouch is virtually weightless and holds the sensor in firmly, so that you get an accurate mileage reading. I purchased two of the pouches, because I switch shoes and it makes it much more convenient to just move the sensor than to unlace the shoes and move the pouch. Anyway, I love, love, love this product and would highly recommend it to anyone! (4x marathon runner and a triathlete-in-training)
