I bought this to replace my stock 250w PSU in a Compaq SR5333wm I bought 3 years ago so I could upgrade from my integrated graphics.
Even with 2 fans, it is just as quiet as the stock PSU.
One thing I did not like is how the 2 SATA connectors are pigtailed with about 4 inches between them, in no way could I use them to power both my HDD and my DvD burner. However I did not need to use them as the previous PSU only had 4pin molex connectors and used adapters.
I can not rate reliability because I just installed the PSU, but judging by the quality it should be like anything else, keep it clean and do not max it out and it should last for years.

I purchased this power supply for my Dell computer after my orginal one started having problems with the cooling fan. Did'nt want to wait around until it finally gave up the ghost, so I read some of the reviews on here and decided on the Thermaltake. Installation was quite easy, it comes with basic directions for hooking it up, and the unit runs very quite with minimal fan noise. I could have spent a lot more money, but this unit was perfect for my system and is higher wattage than my orginal, which I would recommend.Digital camera Review: Good and inexpensive

This PSU is very decent but the problem is the SATA power connector. There is only one strand of SATA power adapters that can connect 2 devices sitting right next to each other in the drive bay. You have to purchase additional molex to SATA power converter if you wish to connect one ODD & a HDD that is sitting far below in your case.
Overall its a good buy but if you have more than one SATA device just order a inexpensive Molex converter to avoid any disappointment & running around when you start to put the system together.

This is a good power supply for lower level PC's. It has good quality at a reasonable price.
