Digital camera Review: Doesn't keep coffee hot very long

Maybe I got a bad one, but it does not keep my coffee hot for even a few hours. Every morning when I make a pot of coffee, I fill a Nissan stainless thermos and fill this 2-qt Beverage Pot about half full. The Nissan thermos keeps the coffee hot for 8 or 10 hours, but this pot does so poorly that I am not using it regularily anymore. There is no visible breakage of the glass, but something is not right with it. At least the price was low.Digital camera Review: Excellent buy.

The product goes beyond my expectations. I mainly use it to keep hot water in it (not boiled, just very hot), and ocasionally forget to empty it the same day. When I remember to empty the water the next day, I have to be carefull not to burn my hand, because the water is still very hot. The design is great, and the pump works just fine. Nothing more can be asked to a stylish, yet simple and reliable product.Digital camera Review: Fast shipment, great product and price.

Works great as far as keeping things hot or cold.
It's just very hard on fingers to press the button down to pump.
Do not recommend this one. Buy one that has a handle pump.

I've owned one just like this one for over 4 years, and have really been pleased with it. Only fault I have is the plastic piece where the metal stem fits in will crack after a few years and allows air to leak around it when trying to pump the beverage from it. Also the little rubber protector on the bottom of the stem will crack and fall off after a few years and should be made of a material that will not deteroiate with age.
Other that that, you won't find a better airpot for the money anywhere.
