Digital camera reviews of TiVo TCD652160 HD Digital Video RecorderDigital camera Review: Can't Live Without TiVO Summary: 4 Stars
If you ever get a TiVO, you won't know how you lived without it for so long. In our case, once you get a dual tuner HD TiVO, it is even better. This TiVO has been great so far. The HD quality is great. The dual tuners are great. CableCards - not so great, but that is not TiVO's fault. Took Comcast a couple of visits to get CableCards that would work in both slots, but now that it is working, it is definitely a nice setup. Only think I could complain about is the remote that comes with it. Very mushy feeling. I would highly recommend the GloRemote from TiVO - much better option. Otherwise, no complains.
Digital camera Review: Can't live without it Summary: 5 Stars
I found out about a TIVO several years ago. I was hesitant to get one because VCRs were so difficult to set the recordings on. TIVO has made it so simple to do. I don't miss anything I want to see on television anymore.
Digital camera Review: Cant live with out. Summary: 4 Stars
I have to say not sure how i lived with out Tivo. I dont watch a huge amount of tv and didnt think i needed tivo. But tivo offers so many things plus it allow you to watch the shows you want to watch when you want to watch them.
I gave this 4 stars out of 5 only because there seems to be a issue with screen going blank (all Gray) when turned to live tv(Live tv is what tivo calls when watching any channel. swich from tivo menu to tv watching). Tivo is no help and gives you the run around. Reading some of the forms online many people are having same issues with tivo HD hooked up to analog tv.
dont get me wrong i think it was a great buy and love tivo. but for what this cost and have to still pay a monthly fee. all the bugs should have been worked out.
Digital camera Review: Comcast customers beware Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this TiVo for my fiance for her birthday. We had a regular TiVo before, but we switched to HD cable and starting using the provided DVR. When we went to get this TiVo hooked up, our cable company (Comcast) informed us that they have not gotten their cable cards to be able to work in the HD TiVo. I am sure this is another quality TiVo product, but buyers should find out beforehand if their cable company is compatible with the TiVo HD DVR.
Digital camera Review: Comcast/Tivo HD install...piece of cake Summary: 5 Stars
Got the Comcast M-Card, bought the Tivo HD, did the install routine per the Tivo process, at the Tivo prompt, dialed Comcast who activated the M-Card, and then I completed the install. Process took one hour, no Comcast visit required. It was almost as easy as the Series2 install. Comcast and Tivo people were totally pleasant and informed.
