Brings out wonderful colors. Helped communicate what I saw when I visited Israel during a sunny trip. Best investment I have made for my Olympus e510. Protects lens and enhances photos. Camera filters bring a photographer from the world of good to excellent pictures. I always use the uv filter for protecting one lense, often use the shadow filter to prevent overexposure. Fit nicely on the end of my Canon EF 28-90mm lens. Takes good(not great) photo's in most light conditions.
Like the title says, for 7 bucks shipped I'm not sure you can beat the protection. If you want high quality glass and perfect shooting in every condition get out your checkbook.
