I wanted lense protection at a very low price. I can't see any difference in my digital pictures betwen filtered and unfiltered, using this filter. The information section for this is a bit messed up and hard to read, but you'll see that other versions are available for this UV filter.
This one is not a multi-coated version at this price but does work to reduce the danger of damage to your camera lens.
