I got this clock as a gift and was looking forward to using it because I really like the nature sounds feature and the ability to listen to my own ambient CD to help me sleep. Right away I was disappointed in the nature sounds feature. Even with the "Variety" of sounds it offers, each was just a 5 second looped soundbite. I could have lived with that except for the horrible buzz that comes from the speakers when you turn on any audio feature. If you turn up the volume to mask the buzz the CD or nature sound is then too loud. Furthermore, the CD quit functioning after 3 months and wouldn't play at all. The clock itself is easy to set and not to bright with a soothing green LED numbering. If you're looking for a nature sound player though I suggest you keep looking.
