Digital camera Review: Antenna reception

Great TV if you hook it up to cable. This TV will not pick up all the channels with over the air antenna. Tried to scan all the over air programs and would only scan three fourths of the way which gave me only half of the channels that I normally receive. All my other TV's including a 9 inch will get all the channels with this same connection. Called customer service and got no satisfaction on the issue from them. I hooked it up to a digital box that I had and will have to use it that way. This TV must have a weak tuner or I just happened to get a bad one.Digital camera Review: Awesome

I purchased this TV from Amazon to use in my Travel Trailer since the old TV would not work due to the switch to digital. I was very surprised when I performed auto program and it found 29 digital and 2 analog channels, some more than 30 miles away. In the same location with the old analog signal I could only receive 5 stations (some fuzzy) at the most.
I also purchased a powered table antenna but found out it wasn't needed because the trailer antenna worked as well or better.
The set has excellent sound and the picture is very clear with bright colors. The remote is easy to use and you only press one button to go from TV to DVD.
This set is ideal for using around the house, RV, or any place you have ac to power the unit.

Bought this TV for the kitchen counter. Sharp clear picture. We are using rabbit ears antenna and pick up the local air wave channels beautifully. Antenna not included and was purchased separately. DVD works great. Love it!Digital camera Review: BEWARE

Beware of this product. The particular model sent to me was defective in that it would not finish the auto programming that is required before any stations can be accessed. Calls to Toshiba revealed a number of interesting facts: (i) first, to my surprise, the particular model I acquired was an out-dated 2008 model, (ii) second, this particular model has had a history of malfunctioning with respect to the auto programming feature necessitating the return of the model for additional software, and (iii) finally, after conducting a couple of over-the-phone diagnostic procedures, the Toshiba representative suggested that the typical historic fix for this particular model would not work on the unit sent to me, and the representative speculated that the particular unit sent to me was probably a rebuilt unit. He suggested a return of the unit for a refund or exchange for a newer model.
And since this was sent to me from an affiliated Amazon vendor, I am now stuck trying to figure out that vendor's return policy and procedure. I have not had any success in that regard.
Amazon is a wonderful retailer, and I have been a very active consumer. But this latest transaction has taught me two things: (i) I would prefer buying electronics from a local vendor than trying to do it remote, i.e., Amazon is probably not the best forum for electronics shopping and (ii) I will try to avoid all Amazon purchases that would be handled by an affiliate vendor.
