Digital camera Review: Beautiful picture--Great service--Update: Great Sound too!

I just got this today. BEAUTIFUL picture, but when you get it, check which picture type it is set on. I noticed that writing on screen in a newscast was blurry and couldn't figure out why. Turns out it was on the Sports setting. Once I changed that and changed my Dish box to 720 vs 1080, everything cleared up. I can't say enough about the picture--I replaced a Sylvania 15-inch HDTV that I've had for a year or so. It had a pretty lousy picture quality. Haven't tried out the DVD player yet, but hoping it will be as good. I got a great deal (I think) at under $200. The only thing that is not perfect is that the stand--it is static and can't be tilted back or turned side to side. But once I got the TV into a good position for viewing that wasn't a terrible problem. The supplier sent it free 2-day shipping/no tax--although it wasn't Amazon but a 3rd party (Electronic Express). GREAT service!! I'll tell you that after days and days of snow and being stuck inside this TV is the best thing that has happened in days!! I did feel bad for the FedEx driver though...
Edited to add that after having used this TV for a while, I am wondering why all the comments about the sound. The sound on mine is great and can be heard easily even when the dishwasher is running. In fact, I find myself turning the sound down often. Secondly, I finally made use of the DVD player to watch Julie&Julia. EXCELLENT!! Easy to use--push a button to switch from TV to DVD, pop in the DVD and off we go. I have also found that the immobile stand is not a problem. When I need a different angle, I just turn the TV in the viewing direction. Easy as pie. I think this is one super unit all the way around and am upping my rating to 5 Stars.

Went through several under cabinet kitchen tvs with flip up LCD screens and have been very disappointed with product quality and life. Most of these were not the well known name brands for LCD TVs, but were quite expensive. Bought the Toshibs 15LV505 15.6 - inch widescreen LCD TV with built in DVD player and so far we are very satisfied. Excellent quality at very reasonable price. Although not mounted under cabinet, it is quite thin and fits well on countertop under cabinets, taking up little counter space. I just bought this TV for my room. I sat here on my computer and looked through adds for months. Then one day I noticed the deal of the day was this Toshiba. Although you'd be lucky to find this TV for $269.99 it was on the deal of the day for only $199. Even for $269 I think this would be a deal. I probaly wouldn't wait around for it to go back to $199.
Now about this TV, I dont know if its just me or does thi TV look bigger than 15.6''. The built in DVD player is a major pro although I sometimes hook my xbox 360 to it and doen't use it. It also has great features, like picture settings. Theirs also picture tempeture " standard, warm, and cool" which is always fun to mess around with. Every movie, every game has its own temp, not to mention picture size. Just to let you know this TV has the best picture I've ever seen on any TV. When I told my friends they all wanted to try to make fun of it for being 15" but I think its almost better to have a small screen. If you think about it it can go almost anywhere and when you actually get into whatever your watching you can't tell. My point is if your looking for a great TV for bedrooms, kitchen or just about anywhere else you can think of buy this TV you wont regret it.

I bought this tv to mount to my kitchen wall, but when I took it out of the box, I found out it had no mounting holes on the back. Had to return.
