I couldn't find a better price for what you are getting in this package. The shipping was extremely fast. This is a good size TV for a smaller bedroom, den or for those who like to watch TV in the kitchen. The only reason I docked it one star is because of the slow tuner. Really, however, this is an excellent little TV. For my purposes the slow channel-changing is not problematic, but it may be for others. I cannot imagine fast channel surfing being a prerequisite for a television of this size. I purchased it to replace the 13" dinosaur tv I had on my desk. This one is perfect for a desk tv. It would also make a nice kitchen tv.
The picture is very nice and the sound is much better than I would have expected.
The DVD player works well. I've never had a side-load DVD player, but I felt comfortable with the way it grabbed the DVD as soon as I started it. It gently pulled in the DVD and automatically changed the TV over to DVD mode.
I am very pleased with this tv/dvd player. We have 2 other Toshiba LCD HDTVs in our house, one that is a 40" and a 26", as well as many other Toshiba products and find this brand to be top notch.

We've had our tv for 2 weeks now and hoped we could adjust to the most annoying issues with the tv, but cannot. When you turn the tv on, you have to wait before you can input a channel or adjust volume, till the picture comes on. Then to change channels, the 5 seconds of waiting before you get desired channel, is awful. Sometimes we go back and forth between programs and we loose information in those 5 sec. just waiting for the picture and sound on the new channel.
Another issue is the picture size. Even using "full screen" size, we can't see complete data at the top and bottom of the screen.
What were the engineers at Toshiba thinking to let these kinds of "basic technical functions" get thru to the finished product. We have had Toshiba's before and are most unhappy with this one.
THINK TWICE, OR MORE BEFORE BUYING THIS ONE!!!

I bought this little TV for my bedroom. I don't watch TV, but I do view a lot of dvds. I was surprised at how light this unit is. The picture quality is superb. I am also very pleased with the dvd function. It loads quickly and easily and has features that my old unit did not such as a memory function that returns to the last place viewed when you remove the dvd and insert it again. Perhaps some day I will purchase an antenna or subscribe to cable and find out how the tv functions work. For now, I am happy with this product for the uses I need.Digital camera Review: Love this TV

I wanted a TV for my kitchen counter. I have very limited counter space so this TV is perfect for the area I have. This TV is a great value for the price. It is very easy to set up. The built in DVD player is very easy to use. The sound quality with audio CD's is great.
