Digital camera Review: Cheesy sound

Everything the previous reviewers had to say about the sound was absolutely right! Low in volume and a tinny sound. My wife and I use in the room to listen to the news while we are getting ready for the day so the sound is almost the most important feature of a TV in that setting. I really love every other feature of this great TV except the sound. I wanted to write a review because I always scan the reviews before I purchase a product. I am completely satisfied with this little set. The picture quality is fine despite the fact that I generally look at the set from an angle. It is quite compact, which is just what I wanted. I have also moved it from room to room easily. When I'm not moving it (which is most of the time), I keep it on a shelf. It is never in the way.
As one reviewer mentioned, due to the proportions of this screen, sometimes the image is smaller than the entire screen area. I've found this doesn't bother me at all. I don't even notice it.
There is also a lag after you turn it on. This is a bit annoying at times, but generally I tune into things a few minutes early, so it doesn't really matter. I don't find as much of a lag when switching channels. After the set is "on," the time between changing channels is pretty similar to what I experienced with my old set.
One last point: the setup must have been easy since I can't recall anything about it. I've had the set several months now and my recollection is that it "worked" immediately, so I must have just plugged it in.

Good picture and sound. Annoying lag between putting in the channel and the picture actually showing up. Headphone jack is on the back, meaning you have to have the space to turn the t.v. around to plug in headphones. When searching for a channel put in by number from the remote, it will go to a blank channel. Other brands I've had go to the next actual live channel - e.g. if I put in 5 on the keypad, the Toshiba goes to 5 - a blank screen. The actually channel is 5-1. Other t.v. brands have been smart enough to go to 5-1 when 5 is entered. For all the HD over-the-air channels I get, I have to click at least twice, then, to get my channel, and wait for the picture to show up.
