Great tv for kitchen,office or bath. Great pic and volume is ok for smaller room. Purached this for my daughter's Christmas gift for her dorm room. Amazon did a great job on the best price and free shipping. They also had it in White which made my daughter happy. The Toshiba 19" 720p LCD HDTV with built in DVD player in white is a great item. Love the size which is great for the bedroom and the white goes nicely in any room. The picture is great and it is easy to connect. I am not an electrician but hooked this up myself. Love the idea of the DVD right on the side of the TV. Works great too and offers a lot of options. Very nice TV - picture is great. Integrates digital and analog signals together seemlessly. Setup is easy and it is easy to adjust it to nice viewing colors. The only slight complaint is changing channels is a little slow for impatient channel surfers. DVDs look great and operation is very simple. The white form factor is a pleasent change from traditional black and looks very nice in my kitchen. This Toshiba is sleek and pretty with a bonus built-in DVD player.
If you are a channel surfer this tv will drive you nuts. There is a
five second lag between channels when using the remote. Insane.
And you have to have the screen placed directly in your viewing level.
If you sit above, below or to the side you loose significant detail.
Black people disappear into shadows. The scenes look almost polarized.
On the plus side, the set-up was easy breezy. You plug the set in and
there's a three step on screen prompt. Took less than five minutes. The
sound is good quality, as is the picture (if viewed straight on).
I recommend this as a cheap, good looking second or third set, definitely
not for primary viewing.
