Digital camera Review: Great little combo

We are thoroughly enjoying this TV in the kitchen. It's great having the DVD also double as a CD player if I just want music. We hesitated to buy this model due to poor audio reviews, but we are totally satisfied and haven't ever had it over halfway. The only complaint is the time it takes to switch stations - about 5 seconds. But hey, for the money, we couldn't be happier.Digital camera Review: Great picture and sound issues are resolvable

I've had the Toshiba LV506 for about two months now. I bought it for my 18' Eco trailer and mounted it with an articulating arm which places it near the end of the bed. Some of the reviewers felt the sound wasn't up to par so I looked at alternatives. I'm used to a quality home theater with excellent surround sound in my living room but didn't want to spend a lot of money for the trailer install.
Instead, I bought a two speaker computer system with subwoofer from Creative Labs and custom fitted this around and below the TV. This truly makes up for any short coming of the tv speakers and the wiring is very simple and straight forward. The only thing I need worry about now is keeping the volume low at night when staying in campgrounds and RV parks because the subwoofer does rock nicely. I purchased the Creative Labs computer system for under $30 with free shipping.

Great price, it was ordered for my 10 year old daughter, She loves it as well as we do.With the built in dvd player its a nice camera Review: Item arrived brokenSummary: 1 Stars I unpacked the TV/DVD and tried to play the DVD but discovered it was broken. It accepted the disc (a rental from Netflix)reluctantly then refused to play it. It also refused to eject the disc. Thus within two hours of receipt the set (with rental disc) was repackaged and was on its way to Toshiba repair in Massachusetts. Shipping cost to me about $72. Not a good experience. Be cautious when purchasing electronic equipment online.

Couldn't be happier with this TV. The white case looks great in my kitchen and the DVD player keeps the grand kids happy. A prior review said the sound was an issue. I agree that I must have the volume higher than my other TV's; but I don't consider that a problem. The only slighly annoying thing is that when switching channels, the wait is longer than most TV's. I don't know if this is the TV or my cable. Anyway, I'm happy with this product and I am glad I ordered it.
