Digital camera reviews of Toshiba 250 GB USB 2.0 Portable External Hard Drive HDDR250E03X

Digital camera Review: 5 star seller!!!
Summary: 5 Stars

High quality product. Prompt Shipping. I have had the product for a week and a half and have used it with my computer 3-4 times. No problems with my computer recognizing the hard drive. Hard drive was new in package and worked perfectly with my Lenovo Laptop.

The short cord was not a problem for my usage, but someone else might prefer a longer cord. The cord is only about a foot long in total length (including port plugs).

Digital camera Review: A Good Buy
Summary: 5 Stars

This is a good buy. I received the purchase very much on time. The product is very useful to me.

Digital camera Review: A great purchase!!
Summary: 5 Stars

I purchased this hard drive back in the summer of 2009, and it is what I use every time I use my laptop. I did have some problems at one point with a clicking noise. I solved this problem by switching the USB cord. Almost immediately it stopped clicking!! Now, as I'm looking for an additional hard drive, I wish I had bought two of these back in 2009. I definitely recommend this hard drive - - easy to use, small size, light weight, and works well with all of my programs on my laptop!

Digital camera Review: Am I missing something?
Summary: 3 Stars

I purchaed this item after seeing good reviews. When I plugged it into my laptop (IBM 2002, Windows XP) the drive lit up, indicating it was on, but was not recognized by my computer at all. I plugged it into to a desktop, also IBM, and the DT recognized the hardware. Do these drives not work on laptops? Is my computer too old? If so, how does one know what kind of drive to buy?

Digital camera Review: Broke after 2 months
Summary: 2 Stars

Two months after using this hard drive, it started to click and would not work since.

It is great product, do not get me wrong; however, it only lasts two months. Not a long term investment.
