i love how you can just plug and play with this HD on any computer anywhere. especially if your a college student, you like some music that a friend is playing on their pc or some pics from a party all you have to do is say "hey can i get that?" sure and you just plug in and in seconds just copy and paste it or drag and drop to your HD. Yes, like any piece of electronic equipment it is fragile and you will need a case but the fact it has the shock sensors and protects your HD from taking a hit and data becoming corruptible is a great feature. you dont have to run the back up program if you dont want to but it is another good attribute about this ext hd.
