Digital camera Review: ATSC Reception is Great

As an Over-The-Air antenna user, I decided it was time to get a TV with an ATSC tuner to ensure I'm getting a good signal and that I didn't need to do any antenna work on the roof. In the icy mid-west, I'm not planning on going up on our roof next February. I'm glad to report that everything works perfectly. I didn't need to get an actual HD antenna and all of the local broadcasts come in strong from about 30 miles outside of the city.
My only complaint is that the "guide" button only seems to work for satellite or cable, not for the ATSC tuner. I've seen other TV's, such as the 32" LG, where this works as it should.
I was originally apprehensive about ordering a TV online since I'd hate to pay return shipping if it turned out to be DOA. After reading about others using Amazon's "White-Glove" service and it being an actual appliance delivery company, I was more comfortable going this route. I must have saved at least $200 over buying at a local electronics store by the time sales tax and shipping are factored in.

I've had this LCD for about 1 month now and I absolutely love it. Set up was easy; less than 45 min from box to wall. Picture is bright, clear, and vivid. You can't go wrong w/ this one. I also own 2 Sharp LCD's and wasn't sure if I should purchase another brand. But, I'm glad I did. For the price you can't beat it. I'm also ordering the Toshiba Regza 47HL167 and can't wait to get it. I can't figure out why there are some negative feedbacks on this one...It's an awesome LCD. READ THE MANUAL BEFORE YOU ATTEMPT TO DO THE SET UP...this will avoid confusion....I'm not really a tech savy person, so If I can set this one up...anyone can!!! (I'm still confused as to why one reviewer wrote that it took them hours to do the set up?) The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars was because of the issue that I had when I first received the tv. It came with one of the speakers messed up. The slightest of noises would cause distortion. So I sent it to get fix and after it was gone for about a month, they finally said that the speakers were on back order. They offered to replace my tv, but this is where Toshiba went a little sour with me. They decided to offer me a "newer" model as a replacement. Well, I had taken time to research this tv and told them that I would not agree to the exchange until I research the model they were offering. Well, I am glad I did, because they were offering a model that was not a Regza series and had substantially less features. I finally called and refused it and told them I would only accept the same tv or a refund. They complied with a brand new tv that was the same model. The tv has been great. Colors are good and the sound is pretty good for tv speakers. I have it in my bedroom and it works perfect for my needs. I highly recommend it over many of the other brands out there. This review is a little late, I got this TV a little over a year ago...
I bought this TV for mainly Xbox 360 use. My Xbox goes to the TV thru HDMI and I couldn't be happier..
I needed these specs so you probably will too...
THE RESPONSE TIME IS 6MS.
THERE IS A TOTAL OF 3 HDMI PORTS, TWO COLORSTREAM COMPONENT INPUTS, AND TWO COMPOSITE INPUTS.
FIXED AUDIO OUT: OPTICAL AND/OR RCA
To sum things up, this is a great gaming TV and I'm sure it would work fantastic for HDTV as well.
