Digital camera reviews of Transcend 16 GB Class 6 SDHC Flash Memory Card TS16GSDHC6EDigital camera Review: 16 GB Memory card for Canon Camera Summary: 5 Stars
So much space- lasted a 17-day trip to Australia- 648 photos and 14 videos with room to spare.
Digital camera Review: 16 GB of Frustration free fun Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this to take on a cruise to replace an older SanDisk 2 GB card for my Canon SX10IS.
First of all the Frustration Free packing is AWESOME, I didn't have to spend 10 minutes fighting with a pair of scissors and the packaging. The SD card came in a small UPS envelope and once opened the piece of paper fell out and then the SD card in its little plastic holder came next. I immediately formatted it in my camera.
Once formatted the card itself holds less than 15GB of actual photos (15 Gigs oh no! remember when the largest SD card was 256mb!)
I'm not going to go into the technical aspects, I'm certain there are other reviews that go into more technical detail than I will. I will say that the pictures appear to have better clarity on this card (if that's possible) and the response time seems quicker. The pictures do download faster from the card reader to the HD.
Once I use it more I'll post other things that I notice about it. But let me say this if you find something on Amazon with Frustration free packaging, take it! Amazon once again is great, I ordered this on Thursday with 2 day Prime shipping and I got it on Friday!
Digital camera Review: 16GB Class 6 Flash Memory Card Summary: 5 Stars
Works as advertised in my Canon T1i SLR camera for hi-def video capture as well as taking pictures. If you have one of these camera's, this memory is a great low cost option. Works as expected.
Digital camera Review: 2nd time's a charm Summary: 5 Stars
For the price this is hard to beat and after exchanging the first set which was defective (Amazon made it painless), it has been flawless. I have this in my new Panasonic Lumix TS-1 waterproof camera and it's great to have space for those HD videos especially when you're on vacation and don't have time to upload everything to your computer.
Digital camera Review: 3rd SD card Summary: 5 Stars
This is my third Transcend SD HC class 6 card. I use one in my canon powershot G9 and with the review screen disabled I can take 12 megapixel pictures as fast as the camera can auto focus and recharge the flash
