Digital camera Review: Bargain high speed, high capacity storage

There is not much to be said about such a mundane device: it just works. I own three of these cards (bought the first one more than six months ago) and they have been performing flawlessly. Read and write performance is fast enough that they have no problem keeping up with my Canon DSLR or my compact camera while recording HD video.
The bundled reader is very small and convenient.
If you don't need the reader, you can save yourself a couple of bucks by ordering the Frustration-Free Packaging version.

This memory card is everything it promised! 16GB memory, super fast speed... The compact card reader also comes in handy - just plug in laptop, PC... and it's ready to download your video and pictures. It's really great for my Canon Powershot SD1100IS, and so convenient that I don't ever have to worry about not having enough memory!!! While this product works fine, it was not what I purchased! So watch out! What is shown in the photos is a 16GB TRANSCEND SDHC card, in a nice little protective case, PLUS a TRANSCEND SDHC Reader -- packaged together, by Transcend. What I received was a 16 GB Transcend SDHC card by itself -- not even with the case for it!, and some cheap, made-in-China no-name (DigitalMatex?) reader in a separate pack. I feel I paid too much for this card, based on the fact that not only did it not include the shown protective case, but I did not even get the Transcend brand reader that was meant to go with it! Very deceptive. Watch out.

Great product at a great price, however!
The cost of postage and packaging (to Australia) for this very small item was excessive - US$60 (A$65).
The quoted cost to send it back was less than A$10. (with a better delivery time)
Complaints to the firm concerned yielded no adjustment.
I would suggest any prospective customers get a firm quote on postage. It more than doubled the price.
