Worked 1st time in Canon SD950 IS Powershot camera. Great capacity (9,999+ pictures at snapshot resolution--over 1,400 at highest resolution--at 12.1 mega pixels). However, had to verify (800 # telephone call to Canon) that the camera supported high capacity SD memory cards, which was not readily apparent on the camera owner's manual. I bought this for use in my wife's Garmin GPS to store her mp3's. Works like it should and very fast transfer speed compared to older SD cards. 8 GB will hold a lot of songs. Great card for my digital camera. Can take lots of photos and home movies. Only problem I had was my 2 year old compaq laptop wouldn't read the card through it's internal card slot. But, easily solved by putting it through another card reader that was compatible. I'm not sure what that was all about but whatever works.
