Out of the box and right into my new laptop (Asus Eee 4g Surf) and it worked fine. It is 8G but only 7.6G is available to me. My desktop and other laptop weren't able to read the card. Maybe due to its size? Regardless of that, this is excellent!Digital camera Review: Awesome SD Card

I just plugged my 8 GB SDHC Transcend into my new Garmin Nuvi 780 and have more storage capacity for maps, music, audiobooks, and photos than I will ever need. Some people have suggested that the SDHC cards do not work in the Garmin GPS units. I found this not to be true. I could have bought the 16 GB card, but you only need this capacity if you need massive storage capability. I have already downloaded my entire iTunes music library to the SD card and can play it through my Garmin FM Tuner and car stereo system. Wow, truly amazing technology!! I have had this product for about a month or so. I actually have two of the cards. I use one in an Aiptek A-HD and the other in a Canon SD1000. I have not had any issues with either card. The pictures are saved very quickly after taking a picture with the SD1000. I don't use the A-HD as much but when I have I've had nothing to complain about.
Really for the excellent price I paid for 8GB, I can't complain. I would recommend the product and the dealer.

I bought this memory card for my Canon SD1100is, it works great and at 8MP can hold about 1,900 pictures. If only I would have waited until they came out with the frustration-free packaging for this! That was by far the most annoying part, trying to get into the thing. Do yourself a favor and buy the one with the new packaging! --> Transcend TS8GSDHC6E 8 GB SDHC Card (SD 2.0 SPD Class 6) [Amazon Frustration-Free Packaging] Oh, I should also add that amazon is the best place to buy any kind of memory card. I've compared prices with stores and they're always about twice as much there as on amazon. The money you can save is worth waiting a day or two to get it.
