It does its job well. BUT, I was not able to read it in on my computer. You'll have to check to see if your computer can read this device...go to the Transcend site to find out before you buy. I purchased the Transend 8GB SDHC Card in the beginning of August. I put it in my digital camera and it seemed to be OK. I didn't need to use the camera until the end of September and when I turn on the camera, I get a card error. Reformatting does not help and since it is past the Amazon 30 day return period, it turns into a throw away. Moral, if you have money to throw away then buy this memory chip from Amazon.
