I am one that likes putting my ipod on a lanyard, or sticking it in my pocket. I wanted to protect my ipod from anything in my pocket it might get scratched by, or just basic scratching from carrying it around all day. So this was perfect for the MAIN reason I bought it. I couldn't loop it to anything and I don't like the clip so I carried in my pocket. Two days after getting it, in my pocket, the clip part BROKE off. Which made me think that the design of where the clip part meets the holder part is thin and ... obviously can easily break. But for the price and like I said the MAIN reason I bought it still functions well as just a protector. To anyone else who HAS to have it for a clip, I would get something else, something more sturdy. If you don't mind paying a little more.
