i did get a clear plastic iPod case but not whats in the picture. mine came with a clip to be attached to your belt and you cant remove the knob on the back of the case, so for me its pretty much useless for me. i'll be ordering another one from Griffin, there alot more reliable. so you've been warned, you might not get what your paying for!Digital camera Review: Awesome Case!

This is a really good case. Its crystal clear, so I can see my beautiful iPod. It still makes my iPod look thin. The charging port fits perfectly with the case on. So does the earbud jack thing. They can be fit in at the same time actually. It has good protection too. It lets you access all your iPod's features such as the Sleep/Wake button and volume up/down. Also the Home Button. I made a skinit (skinit.com) for my Ipod touch and i knew it was gonna come paper-like and not a thick hard case, so i decided to find a case that went along with the outline i needed. When i seen the first default picture they had to represent this product, it wasn't the kind of outline i needed but then i looked at the images people uploaded to help understand how it looks and it was exactly the outline i needed. The picture they have up to represent the product is wrong, the uploaded images people have telling you it is different are right. So despite taking my chances at the time and buying this case, i also bought the screen protectors with it and both these product fit and use very well. No problem whatsoever. The screen protectors are strong and secure, very durable. And the complaints about the case "being to hard to close and open" and all that other crap about breaking. Who would want a case that opens and closes easily? That just shows its poor quality and isn't secure. So stop complaining! Yes it is hard to press on, and yes it is hard to take off, handle with care. But to me thats a good thing because i want something thats gonna support and protect my Ipod not just crack open and brake the first time i drop it. As for dropping my Ipod, I have dropped it but from a VERY short drop. Meaning no effect would have been done at all, dropping it a long and hard drop, has not happened yet and i hope does not but in my opinion i think if it does, This case will be enough to protect it. The price for both these things were awesome, only 3 and something cents (Don't quite remember, ordered it about a month and half ago). The cover snapped right on. All the controls are accessible, and the iPod still fits in our dock / alarm clock. I'm not sure how much protection it's providing, but it can't hurt, and the price was right.
